The luxurious hammam towel Charlotte is a hand-woven, wonderfully soft pestemal. It is ideal as a towel for the beach, sauna and pool and perfect as a hamam towel. We source the Charlotte hamam towel from a Pestemal manufactory in Izmir, where it is made on traditional, semi-automatic looms. The warp threads are then knotted by women in their own homes. This weaving pattern has been used for hamam cloths in Turkey for centuries.
